A Sporting Wokeism. Zoned Out on a Podcast? Radcliffe’s Refresher Course

Ten Hag has risen from his tulip dream following one’s Manchester United sacking stating that players cannot take criticism, perhaps it is the Dutchman who could not the brickbats? Can the blame game fall on the wokeism shit flyers with people’s values changing, attached to the world’s new creation, self-righteousness, insincere to generate a solo movement or agenda, the stench drives through society’s ills. Money, searching for fame breeds a selfish cesspit coupled with the media exposure impacts the affected in a negative state to a degree.

Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho perhaps unwittingly has become lured into the wokeism lair. The Argentine using the media outlets to react if not selected from first team duty alongside feeling aggrieved if substituted during a match on occasions. Garnacho is taking the stance that he feels badly treated followed with a catalogue of media reactions posting his distain directed at the manager, Ten Hag and Rubin Amorin have recently become foul of this, hence the Ten Hag comments, no names aired on a callout, but the Dutchman’s grievances are publicly beneath the surface. Garnacho fast tracks to delete the postings realising the error of his ways but frequently too late to stop his laundry airings.

Respect is a keyword which to a degree is fractured. The public form a feel right to portray players in whatever light, good, bad or indifferent, it can be a dangerous cocktail, multiple, through media outlets, an image and vibe is displayed, a core of over hyped players, many can fall by the wayside, parasites, hangers on can affect the player, family members can be the worst seeking their slice of the money cake. Players have two choices, get your head down and work hard or take the route of heading down the discotheque with your pyjamas and slippers on such is the dress attire. Kyle Walker now of AC Milan was seen sporting a striped red, blue, cream, jacket reminiscent of the 1960’s series ‘The Prisoner’ with Kyle looking to escape his own rubble, but the two floozies in tow will hinder ones escape, Walker embroiled in a family bubble likes to dual twin the roles seeking sideliner entertainment, there goes that word again, respect, squashed. Society’s wokeism has manifested itself into the participants of sporting themes, link to article Jan 9th 2023 ‘Society v Sport’.

Zoned Out on a Podcast?

Do supporters prefer the punditry syndrome on the various podcast units all wired, miked up? Is it a snooze fest? Does not seem to be the case with the termed Gary Lineker podcast empire with a 1.4 million pound rise in revenue streams year ending 2024, accounted into a one year cycle, currently hitting the 2.03 million pound mark. The podcast founded in 2019 remained sluggish at first with no meteoric rise. So if Jake Paul can make millions out of selling rhubarb why not Lineker indeed. Lineker is politically orientated with the laughing cavalier Micah Richards and the singleton boring fart Alan Shearer with Lineker losing that tag. It has to be said that Micah Richards would annoy the mosquitoes and they would fly away, squadron linked.

So, who are the listeners who tune into the titled ‘The Rest is Football’, attached termed Goalhanger? Is it the ones with the winter woollies and multi-coloured cardigans stoked up by ones log fire of the older generation, cup of tea shears, or the younger brigade, either way Lineker is getting his lumps of sugar, boring or not the threesome are at the top end ratings of the podcast era, is there such a thing as a bad show or perhaps the ‘Goalhanger’ termed is rather good, as Lineker would say “They think it’s all over” not on this watch, the rest is football.

Radcliffe’s Refresher Course

Sir Jim Radcliffe has been airing all in the public domain on justification projecting Manchester United’s glorification cock of the North 100,000 capacity, 2 billion pounds stadium in the planning pipe, but is it all a dream? From Sir Jim stating that United would have gone bust year ending 2025 to the much vaulted stadium project, makes sense? Not if the numbers don’t add up. Straight out of a glossy brochure, the stadium looked like Billy Smart’s Circus tent, a laughing stock it has become alongside heavy duty criticism. Radcliffe’s attached quote “There’s no such thing a free lunch”, Sir Jim seeks many millions of free lunch’s with one’s trait to seek out Government funding in the terms of the tax payers’ monies, the regeneration of the area surrounding the new stadium is the bait or red herring to snatch taxpayers’ funding, Everton football on the Merseysider’s new stadium build were not afforded such Government luxuries. So will the money parachute in, or will the magician pull the rabbit out of the hat, “What’s up Jim?”. Is it for public funding to solve the ills of Manchester United? A strange quirk on this narrative is that the mayor of Manchester is Andy Burnham, an Everton supporter, Burnham seems to have entered a conflict syndrome with ones self-defending the use of public funding for the project and later diluting on his previous quotes. Burnham two shoe shuffle, one of red, one of blue to align to a window of good light, to keep one’s nest feathered. Alongside any green offshoots. If the stad build hits the green light, money manipulation withing the corridors of power will train load sacks upon sacks of cash to the United coffers to be termed the greatest taxpayers’ robbery of the century.
