Sky Baboon, Stirling’s Contrition and Mane, The Water Carrier

Sky Baboon

The general consensus amongst the press come pundits, is that Liverpool have during the first week of November claimed the title, with Jose Mourinho and Roy Keane stating that Liverpool are now the champions with the Merseysider’s nine point cushion.

In comparison on the same weekend, England’s other unbeaten team York City were marked down with an eight point cushion, the minister men have also won the National League North title, to concur with the same thought process, which was turned on it’s head within a week with \York’s cushion being reduced to four points

If Sky TV in particular are prepared to pay Mourinho and Keane big bucks for punditry nonsense, then that’s their prerogative, the Football Column files this to Sky baboon.

Sterling’s Contrition

The Raheem Sterling, Joe Gomez saga is nothing more than handbags at three paces, Southgate in his wisdom was right to drop Sterling, initially removing Sterling from the England training camp. No more handbags, with Sterling being seen grabbing Gomez by the throat during an early morning breakfast spat.

As for the booing of Joe Gomez during the Liverpool player’s introduction as a substitute v Montenegro, was a mystery to many.

The London raised Manchester City supporters enjoyed the party, no not the 7-0 drubbing of Montenegro, but the Joe Gomez Jeers!

Mane, The Water Carrier

Liverpool’s Senegal International Sadio Mane was lauded on social media as being, quote, “One of the most genuine people on the planet” for carrying two packets of water from the Senegal team coach. Perhaps Mane foresaw a drought coming.

Maid service not required

Rumour has it that Mane also does the hoovering and shopping, for water of course!
