Hearn’s Treachery. Flashback Snippets

Hearn’s Treachery

The loveable Barry Hearn who has cash cowed the snooker has grand designs on moving the World Championship tournament from the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield to Saudi Arabia or China, a big mega bucks deal for Hearn if the treachery prevails, the Crucible’s contract expires in 2027 a key date for Hearn’s greed.

Hearn has stated that the Crucible is too small housing nine hundred spectators, would a bigger spectator participation rise significantly financially to substantiate the Hearn agenda? Not of any great note to rationalise, remove the manhole cover on non justification, BH does not give a syrup’s arse on spectator participation, time to raise that finger, syruped. The promotor who made millions on the straddle straps of Steve Davis during the 1980’s now wants to devalue the world’s number 1 snooker championship, quote Hearn “It’s all about the money, a trophy’s a trophy”. Heritage means nothing to Hearn the con artist masquerading for the good of snooker, no fool’s paradise on this watch, Hearn needs to be jettisoned out, hit the exit door.

Football and its strange quirks at the 2023-24 season’s end, it may be July with another season lurking, flashback for the coverage why not indeed it has to be pushed out there on the Prem’s flashbacks snippet block. The strange overtones of Arsenal’s Ben White who failed to window the bigger England picture on refusal to accept England selection. White’s thought process would have beamed the picture of Kyle Walker occupying White’s rights back berth to be selected as a bench warmer for the Euro tournament. The picture was bigger than the initial white picture with Southgate fallible in one centre back position, White to fill the void or Walker or White on both positions to right back to centre back, either way White would have been selected hence Southgate’s persistence, we will never know, but that’s the third eye on the Manero lens. White’s whereabouts on the social media outlets played out by White with one’s other half on the sun-drenched slapped arse picture depicted, cocktails in hand, it all seems relevant to the White’s, whiter than white they are not sunrays of vital importance, is that right Benjamin?

White is not alone on the stroppy strops, players throwing of water bottles, kicking the subs bench seats, verbal diarrhoea. Whatever happened to the kitchen sink, if Novak Djokovic was in town they could smash a few racquets all for the cameras of course. Mo Salah’s well publicised spat overstepped the mark by a considerable margin, does it plant a stain on Salah’s badged up warts ‘n’ all. Will the strop be remembered in the passage of time? That annoying wart. The biggest stropper on the block is Manchester City’s Kevin de Bryne on being hooked off, but you don’t hang manager Guardiola on the hook to dry, Pep approaches his disgruntled players pulling his own strop to berate or knowledge bashing de Bryne with his thoughts, one strop deserves another. Pep’s foe and friend of recent times Jurgen Klopp would turn up late for the weekly press conferences on occasions with the exit door looming, quote Jurgen “who gives an arse”, perhaps that was Salah’s problem I don’t have to give an arse, Jurgen’s leaving. One manager who failed on the block the potato headed lover Wayne Rooney’s expertise who invited to the Sky Sports pundit gallery and became lorded indeed for calling out unnamed Manchester United players for dodging the bullets feigning injuries and being unavailable for selection. Outside of Rooney’s observations it was all with obvious intent, it was clear as day, don’t need Rooney stating the obvious, Roy Keane jumped on board belatedly but quickly laying the same claim on board the Rooney potato peelings.

In warmer climates on the South Coast or perhaps not Brighton’s de Zerbi came under sniper fire from Cabbio Fabio Cappello who made a dog’s ear of the England jobber and lays the same tendances at de Zerbi’s door quote Capello “A third rate manager who lives of the Guardiola plaudits”. So what does Pep know? Take a cab Cabbio round and round spaghetti junction. De Zerbi’s tactical and coaching prowess cannot be questioned, but a timer set on the Italian’s explosive tendencies are open to question in some quarters. In comparison Jurgen Klopp has an explosive mechanism and it does ignite on occasions, what’s the difference? There’s none, fire brandness needs to be harnessed, channelled, de Zerbi has the temperament to control. Of the opinion that the Italian would have been a good fit for Liverpool, have they missed a trick? Deal with the magician’s hand and go with the vibe.

One manager who did miss a trick and did not go with the vibe to fast track a proven goal scorer pivoted at number nine. That proved to be the Gunners downfall, no need to discharge the Gunnery the powder’s run dry. Leandro Trossard bailed Arteta out to a degree with Trossard’s unexpected goal fest of 16 goals, a high number from a wide player, Arsenal will come again, any bets on a proper number nine landing at the Emirates they sniffed the title now they have to grab hold of it to sign on the dotted line number nine, next season calling. The end of season encounter the Spurs v Manchester City led to sections of the media and Tottenham supporters alike laying claim to Spurs looking to throw the match to thwart their North London’s rival Arsenal the title on the pre-match menu which the supporters liked tick that box. The goon headed brigade failed to mention Spurs quest to claim the Prem’s fourth slot v the Aston dual, a win for Spurs would have opened the fourth spot chase to the last game of the season, that should have been the thought process, but the stupidity prevailed. Villa had a DNA during the season of imploding on occasions on the rear end of a few tankings, a small window chance, you go for it. Villa did implode losing their final match to Crystal Palace 5-0, that crystal ball in motion.

The Defence for the Spurs Supporters

Time for the alternate view on the Spurs, Arsenal end of season match conjecture. Football is a tribal affair with all club’s Derby neighbours which catered into question the Spurs supporters desire for their team to lose v the City to derail Arsenal’s title aspirations as stated on the previous.

Hatred is a strong word but it exists within football’s tribalism, but should supporters park it? Can they? Easier said than done, would supporters across the landscape cater for the same wish list under the same circumstances v their respective Derby rivals? It has to be the case, doesn’t it? Does this make it a sad state of affairs? As unfortunate as it may be, tribalism is the driver for the passion, there’s no red ribbons on the 2023, 2024 Premiership trophy for the Gunners, no visible blood letting the blue of Manchester City, put paid to that courtesy of the Spurs? Job done.
